What We’re Looking For
We prioritize original, evidence-led stories that expose wrongdoing, hold power to account, or give voice to communities who have been silenced. Your pitch doesn’t need to be a finished article — a solid lead with supporting evidence is enough for us to take it forward.
- Border crimes, BSF killings, and cross-border smuggling operations in Brahmanbaria
- Transit syndicates, highway extortion, and transport mafia with documented evidence
- Police, judicial, or government corruption backed by documents, witnesses, or data
- Human rights abuses — displacement, land grabbing, political violence, enforced disappearances
- Election fraud, vote rigging, or political intimidation with verifiable sources
- Financial crimes, contract fraud, or misappropriation of public funds (LGED, UP, municipal)
- Disinformation networks, propaganda operations, or media manipulation
What We Do Not Publish
- Unverified rumour, hearsay, or gossip without at least one documentable lead
- Personal disputes, private family matters, or content designed to harass individuals
- Press releases, promotional content, or political party communications
- Content targeting people based on religion, ethnicity, gender, or sexuality
- Stories where the primary purpose is settlement of personal scores

What Happens After You Pitch
We review every pitch within 5–7 working days. If we’re interested, an editor will contact you directly to discuss the story, verification needs, and next steps. If we cannot pursue it at that time, we’ll tell you why. All pitches are handled in strict confidence.
